I am Daniel Vining, owner of ZERO Nine Design.  I would like to welcome you to my website, ZERO Nine Design. Please explore the photo galleries, as well as the web & graphic design portfolios.  Read on, and learn more about how ZERO Nine Design came to be.

In high school, I was given the opportunity to become the editor-in-chief of my school newspaper.  At the same time, I was avidly involved with the school yearbook as a photographer, and was in charge of public affairs for the school's NJROTC unit.  These experiences, along with classes in Journalism, Photography, and Art, planted the seed that would latter become what you see before you today.

In 2002, on "Black Friday", the day after Thanksgiving, my family bought our first new desktop computer since 1993.  Until this time, my only computer experience came from school.  Over the course of that winter, I learned and created a few very basic web pages.  This was the birth of ZERO Nine Design.

I have always been a huge NASCAR and motor sports fanatic.  As soon as the last season is over, I am counting down the days until the next season begins.  In February 2003, as part of my ongoing experimentation with web design, I launched what was then called,  "The NASCAR SPEEDZINE presented by DCV Enterprises".   Now simply called The Speedzine, this was an attempt to emulate the popular Jayski.com, which is a NASCAR themed, rumor site.  Over the course of the next few years, I joined the military, and moved to North Dakota, where I now live.

As the years have passed, I have greatly improved my skills and artistic vision.  Although I am always in the process of learning and mastering this craft, I am now in a position that I can design great websites and for the average consumer or small business.  Most importantly, I can capture life through the lenses of my camera.
